I'll try and write a lengthier post later, but after ~16 hours of travel, I have arrived in Beijing! I'm going to hop in the shower, and then my adviser and his colleagues and I will be going out to dinner in an hour. It's very bizarre being in a place and feeling completely illiterate! The flight was great, and the time raced by.
