Panda-monium!

I am soooo tired tonight, and will really try and make this a short post!

We had a late morning, followed by a cab ride to the Beijing Zoo! We saw some really cool pheasants, large cats (lions and tigers), foxes, lemurs and monkeys, and of course, pandas! There were about 11 pandas that we saw. The most dynamic panda was up a tree when we first saw him or her. He teetered around for a while, and managed to climb down--it was really interesting! The pandas were beautiful, and it was interesting to see how revered they are here (their habitats are huge).
We also saw some beautiful lions, lionesses, and tigers. There was a white Bengal tiger that was beautiful, and what we think were lionesses, that were also fun to watch.
We headed back to Silk Street , and ALMOST picked everything up. Dad's sleeves were uneven, so we have to go back again tomorrow. I met a man who spoke Spanish (which I do not), and we managed to have a conversation in French! We also met some women from Tunisia.

For dinner, we went back to the same restaurant we went to nearby our hotel a few nights ago. We had a light dinner, and came back and hung out for a few hours. Dad and I will go back to Silk Street in the morning to pick up his suit! For now, I plan on sleeping for more than the 6.5 hours I've been getting!
